For the past three years, my family and I have been searching for a good doctor who could help us identify and understand my mother's underlying health issue.

Hi myself Sumit Kumar Yadav. I like to share my feeling about my health issue regarding perianal fistula. I am a Doctor by profession. It started 4 years back in October 2016. At first pain started in my left buttock. Then later I develop fever and swelling started in my left buttock. I visited a surgeon.He told me that it is perianal abscess. He performed incision and drainage of wound. I have to go his clinic regularly for dressing of my wound. After 10 days again I develop fever and pain in my right buttock. Then I went to a medical college and there it was again operated on both side. Wound took 3 months to heel.

But after 2 months fever and pain again develop on bilateral buttock in March 2017. It was again operated in medical college. I have to visit surgery ward everyday for dressing. It took 2 and half month to heel. After that I was feeling well and my health status was good.

But in may 2019 i again develop fever and pain on my right buttock. It was again operated. This time it took 3 months to heel. I use to visit surgery ward everyday for dressing

Then I was feeling better but in October 2019 I feel discomfort while sitting.

I notice watery discharge from my right buttock. Then I consult Dr. Ashish Bhanot sir through whatsapp. He guided me and advice me to do MRI perineum. MRI report shows complex right perianal fistula. Sir gave me hope that everything will be fine but it will take 8-10 months. I was happy after listening him. He advice me to go for VAAFT. I was first operated in November 2019.

Very next day i feel comfortable during sitting and there was almost no pain.

I was doing my daily work comfortably. He guided me during this period whenever I need help.Now my fistula treatment is going on and I am recovering very well.

After my last sitting in may 2020 my health issues have resloved , currently i dont have any discomfort while sitting and doing any activity.

I’ve been visiting Dr. Karishma Thariani for 3 years now. Found her after searching for doctors for months who specialise in this field. At my lowest point with debilitating bladder pain she helped me get my life back after being diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis. She has a very strong expertise in her field of urogynecology with a holistic approach, but most of all she’s empathetic, helped me make sense of my diagnosis, took her time going through my treatment plan with me, helped me take DNA tests at my request, treated me for months, was available to take my calls when my pain got unbearable, always encouraged me that I would get back to normal even when I thought I wouldn’t. I had visited other doctors before I found her, but She was the only doctor I could find in Delhi NCR, who truly understood the mental and physical toll it had on patients and treats patients with empathy, compassion and provides mental support which truly helped considering how difficult it is to diagnose and treat such conditions.
